Start with the model

A 12 oz label describes a nominal beverage-capacity class. It is not a lid-interface standard. Two cups can have that label while using different rim geometry, materials or supplier families. Start a purchase note with the exact cup code and proposed lid code. Keep the actual seller or maker compatibility statement beside them instead of reducing the pair to an ounce number.

Use the selected records

The selected Choice 50012W and 50012DWALLW pages both show a 3½inch top diameter and explicitly present the Choice hinged-tab travel lid as a related compatible option. That lid is 500L1020BHT. Eco-Products separately lists EP-ECOLID-W among lids for EP-BHC12-WA. Those are two source relationships;they do not establish interchangeability between the Choice and Eco-Products families.

Diameter is not a substitute

A top diameter can be useful when checking whether a product record is plausible, but rounded dimensions do not describe every part of a rim. Choice’s 3½inch field and Eco-Products’89.7 mm field are not permission to declare a cross-brand fit. This site has not measured either rim or fitted a lid. It preserves the exact documented pairing and leaves other combinations unknown.

Read the lid scope literally

The Choice selected lid describes 10–24 oz standard cups and 8 oz squat cups. The squat qualification matters;it does not automatically include every 8 oz tall cup. The EcoLid family description is also brand-specific. A page saying 10–20 oz Eco-Products hot cups does not cover all manufacturers’ cups in those capacities. Keep family and shape qualifiers in the order record.

Use an unknown result correctly

The lookup tool returns a documented reference only for the selected known pairings. An unlisted combination is unknown, not a tested failure. Conversely, a documented supplier pairing is not a guarantee that a received damaged or changed batch will seal perfectly. If a code differs, ask the supplier for the current matching lid rather than forcing an answer from the diameter.

Before buying a case

Confirm the actual cup variant, lid variant and separate selling quantities. Retain their current product links and inspect the received labels before distributing stock. Do not turn online reviews or a generic product image into your own fit test. A correct compatibility record makes the basket better specified;it does not establish leak resistance or safe handling in every use.

Keep a replacement request precise

If a supplier proposes another lid, save the full replacement code and its current cup list. Do not reduce a reply to “fits twelve-ounce cups” when the actual answer names a particular family. A dimensional similarity can help detect an obvious mismatch, but it cannot supply an omitted compatibility statement. The lookup is intentionally limited to its documented records. An unfamiliar suffix, brand or revised cup should prompt a new source check rather than inheriting a prior match from a neighboring product.
