Define the basket
A useful basket starts with a chosen number of cups and a chosen number of matching lids. Some service plans need lids for every cup;others do not. This tool does not choose that policy. It lets the buyer enter separate whole case counts for a documented pair and shows the physical quantities purchased. The known merchandise base is not labeled as a final delivered quote.
Apply only observed tiers
For Choice 50012W, the current page has 45.99 USD for one case, 42.99 for 2–3, and 38.99 for 4 or more. For 50012DWALLW, it has 55.99 for one and 51.99 for 2 or more. The selected hinged lid has 40.49 for one case and 38.49 for 2 or more. The calculator applies these observed quantity tiers to the relevant line, not across unrelated products.
An actual selected example
Two 500 cup double-wall cases at the observed two-case tier have a cup base of 103.98 USD. One 1000 lid hinged-tab case adds 40.49 USD, so the known merchandise base is 144.47 USD for 1000 cups and 1000 lids. The covered-assembly count is limited by the smaller component count. No shipping, tax or optional sleeve charge is invented to complete the total.
Handle unknown charges
The buyer can enter actual quoted shipping, tax and other charges after seeing them. Until all requested charge fields have explicit finite nonnegative values, the tool withholds a full total. An unknown field is not equivalent to zero. A user may deliberately enter zero for a confirmed no-charge line, but the website does not assume a banner or membership applies.
Keep the seller context
The Eco-Products cup and lid offers here are from Key Compostables. Choice offers are from WebstaurantStore. A shared basket interface does not combine the sellers’fulfillment systems or shipping thresholds. It also does not place a mixed-store order. Switching the product family resets charge inputs so that a previous shipping quote does not carry into another seller’s basket.
Review before checkout
Save the selected codes, case quantities, observed price basis and unresolved costs. Recheck current checkout prices because public pages and tiers can change. The tool is local arithmetic with no payment, cart submission or automatic reorder. It does not certify a leak-proof assembly or a delivery date, and a correct subtotal does not resolve the product’s actual use conditions.
Do not disguise a zero quote
Typing zero in a charge field means the user is explicitly supplying a zero-valued quote or assumption. Leaving the field blank means the value is unknown. Those states have different outputs. If a free-shipping code fails at checkout, the earlier zero must be replaced rather than treated as a permanent entitlement. The local tool does not verify the quote remotely. It makes the buyer’s actual known-cost inputs visible while preserving the distinction between a merchandise base and a complete entered total.
