Use the instruction actually published

The current Eco-Products EP-BHC12-WA page says to store the product in a cool, dry place and lists a two-year shelf-life field. This reference records those fields as the manufacturer’s current statement. It does not establish a countdown from today for stock with an unknown manufacturing date, unknown storage history or a different cup code.

Keep dates and conditions together

A shelf-life number without its starting point and conditions is not a guaranteed remaining service period. Ask the supplier about the actual received batch and labeling if shelf life matters to the order. The tool does not calculate expiry from purchase date or assume an opened sleeve retains the same conditions as an unopened carton. No accelerated-aging or storage experiment has been performed here.

Count usable matching stock

The whole-case tool asks for a user count of usable matching cups. It does not inspect cleanliness, damage, odor, moisture exposure or package integrity. A stored item should not be counted merely because it physically exists. The business’s receiving and handling process needs to decide whether that stock is suitable under the actual product instructions before entering it as usable inventory.

Separate return packaging from storage

Key Compostables’policy generally permits unused items in original unopened packaging within 30 days, with exclusions. Opening every sleeve to reorganize stock can affect return eligibility. That is a seller-policy issue, not a claim that all opened cups are unsafe. Review the exact seller conditions before separating packaging, and retain identifiers needed to resolve a mismatch.

Do not borrow a shelf-life claim

The Eco-Products field is not transferred to the selected Choice products or to the lids. Similar materials or appearances do not establish identical packaging, storage limits or expiration rules. If an exact instruction is absent from the reviewed source, leave it unknown and request current supplier documentation. A generic stock-counting calculator cannot fill that technical gap.

Make replenishment a chosen decision

A user may choose a target based on their own verified operations, but this site does not invent monthly consumption, wastage or inventory life. The output is a whole-case arithmetic result with surplus visible. It does not schedule an automatic reorder or determine whether additional stock will be used within a verified storage period. Keep those operational assumptions outside the calculation.

A carton count is not a shelf-life test

Knowing that a case contains 1000 cups does not establish whether the business can store or use them under the maker’s conditions. A target chosen from actual operations can help plan a purchase, but the website has not audited the premises, storage temperature or batch age. The two-year maker field is not a prediction about unknown held inventory. Keep batch labels and actual storage information privately, and seek supplier clarification when a dated stock decision depends on them.
